Free admission…

The admission onto the site is free…the bus rides are free…and many of the activities are free.  The main gate will be closed for public access. Pedestrian entrance onto the site will be off Dovecote Road opposite the old School.  We will be supplying wrist bands again for families to use with children. Please take care with parking as the top of Mill Road will be coned off to give the bus access onto Mill Road.

Lots of things to do and see…

Apart from the time-tabled events there are a lot of other things to do and see:

Creation Station  –  make and take home

How fast can your Scaletrix car go  when you use pedal power?

New inflatables and fun fair activities – coconut shy,  penalty shoot-out

Watch out for the Stormtroopers

Dog Display – will they do as they are told

Pentrich Revolution Awareness Display – can you find ancestors who took part?

Refreshments – home made cakes, burgers and large hot dogs! And , of course, ice-cream!

Don’t forget to take a ride on the bus which will take you to other activities provided by the pubs – Horse and Groom, The Royal Oak, Queen’s Head, New Inn, The Hayloft and the Forester’s Arms.

Take a walk through Moorgreen and see the scarecrows!

St. Mary’s Church, Greasley will have an Open Day and Craft Fair – some scarecrows too!

Stop at Reuben Shaw’s for a cup of coffee/cake and view the plants.

Take a walk to Beauvale Priory – Tearooms, entertainment and Beer Festival.
